Remember when the Pete Rose was the man? Pete Rose, aka "Charlie Hustle", what a great baseball player, a legend in his own time, you either loved him or feard him, there was no other way, then the bottom fell out for Charlie Hustle, he was indited for gambling, this is cause for keeping him out of the Hall of Fame? So they say,! Wait you can't keep greatness down, lets look at this from an intelligent point of view, ready? OK, other baseball players like Lou Gehrig died of a rare disease, his life was cut short, very short, when Mickey Mantle died of cancer his life was cut short, others have died mysterious deaths at a young age, some lived longer lives and died of cancer, heart disease, and other life threatening illnesses. OK Jim whats the point? The point is that gambling is a disease! If these other greats were not kept out of the Hall of Fame due to there illnesses, then why is Pete Rose and exception? The medical profession has included gambling as a serious disease! I beleive that fair is fair, and this ain't fair, so the Baseball Commissioner should get some smarts and allow Pete to be inducted, after all who was greater than Pete? I know there are people who are angry at Pete for his betrayal, or at least what they feel is a betrayal, but if you have never known anyone who had this disease then you do not know what you are talking about if you say he does not belong because he was a gambler!
To your health happiness and prosperity!!
